October 2020 is for sure one of the best months for AMD. After revealing the new Ryzen 7 5800X series earlier this month, today AMD introduced the new Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards powered by the new RDNA 2 architecture.
Dr. Lisa Su, CEO of AMD presented the 3 new additions to the Radeon family – Radeon RX 6800, 6800 XT and 6900 XT. Throughout the presentation there was a strong emphasis on having the “Ultimate PC Gaming Platform” that features AMD processor and videocard.
To be fair this a legit statement because AMD is the go-to brand for price to perfomance ratio. For a long time, Intel’s top processor was perferred for top tier gaming for its single thread performance. Right now after the annoucment ot the 5800x, AMD came on top even for single-threaded perfomance. Combining ther processor with their lattest 6000 series graphics card will probably be not only the best price to performance ratio setup, but also the best overall.
